Celebrating 15 years of flying in 2008, Jet Airways is one of the fastest growing airlines in the world, where rich traditions of warm Indian hospitality and service flawlessly blend with the international efficiency and reliability.
Jet Airways currently operates one of the youngest and best maintained fleets in the world, operating state-of-the-art, next generation aircraft with the latest technology and avionics, spanning the length and breadth of India and beyond. Jet Airways is a world class domestic airline and India’s most preferred carrier connecting to 44 cities within India, and a comprehensive network of 17 international destinations with many more to follow.
Jet Airways’ rapidly expanding international network saw the introduction of new routes between Mumbai and Shanghai, Hong Kong and San Francisco in the first half of 2008. The addition of these cities further expands Jet Airways’ coverage around the world, adding to some of the world’s major and iconic destinations already covered by the airline such as New York, London, Bangkok, Singapore and Kuala Lumpur, to name but a few.
Towards the end of June 2007, Jet Airways began a codeshare arrangement with Qantas Airways on the Australia to Singapore route offering passengers seamless travel to India departing from Sydney, Melbourne, Perth, Brisbane and Adelaide via Singapore and vice versa.
All Jet Airways services connecting from Singapore to India offer both economy and Premiere class – Jet Airways’ exclusive business class, while all passengers travelling on these codeshare services are able to through-check their baggage to their final destination and boarding passes can be issued for the entire journey from port of embarkation.
All Premiere class passengers can use the Business Lounge while at transit in Singapore. Jet Airways also has airport lounges at Delhi, Mumbai (Bombay), Chennai (Madras), Kolkata, Bangalore, Hyderabad and Jaipur and most cities for the use of Premiere class passengers and Jet privilege members.
With Jet Airways offering over 340 flights daily to 44 destinations in India, and Qantas Airways’ daily flights to Singapore, Australian business and leisure travellers are presented with a convenient and vast network when travelling to destinations such as Delhi, Mumbai and Chennai, and domestic ports in India.
A full range of economy and Premiere class fares are available for sale from Australia to India, and Europe in conjunction with codeshare partner Qantas Airways, and Interline partners Malaysia Airlines, Thai Airways and Cathay Pacific.
